Information you enter in the app (stored on your device)

Joyfully lets you create mood check-ins and journals. Depending on what you use, you may enter or attach:

• Mood check-ins (e.g., selected emotions, quadrant/mood color)
• Tags you select or create (e.g., what you’re doing, where you are, who you’re with)
• Journal content you choose to add:
  • Text notes (if available)
  • Voice journals (audio recordings)
  • Photos you attach to a check-in

Joyfully stores this content locally on your device. We do not receive or store your journal content on our servers.

Device permissions (only when you choose to use them)

Joyfully may request access to:

• Microphone (to record voice journals)
• Camera (to take photos for a check-in)
• Photo Library (to attach an existing photo)

Joyfully only accesses these features when you choose to use them.

Automatically collected information (anonymous usage analytics)

To understand basic product usage (for example, retention and which features are used), Joyfully may send anonymous analytics events off your device.

These events are designed to not include your journal content or identity. We may collect:

• A randomly generated anonymous install ID (not your name/email)
• Event type (e.g., app_open, start_checkin, checkin_saved)
